2019 Pilot Report: Longitudinal Study of Children and Families

Reaching the 4th year of its journey, the Longitudinal Study of Children and Families (SLAK) is one step away from collecting breakthrough data on Indonesian children.

From 2016 to 2019, SLAK has conducted one exploratory study & 4 pilot studies; developed five modules; fieldwork in 9 provinces & 11 regencies/cities; involved 721 parents/caregivers, 421 children, and 129 community leaders and policymakers.

In its final pilot in 2019, the SLAK research team engaged out-of-school children with disabilities and applied the key informant method for household listing.
